- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it.
- Personalized or customized items may not be eligible for return unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.
- Items marked as non-returnable or final sale cannot be returned.

2. Return Process:
- To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at Katie@highwaterhatco.com to start your return process.
- Clearly write the order number on the outside of the package you are returning.
- Ship the item back to us using a trackable shipping method to ensure its safe return.
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item received.

3. Inspection and Refunds:
- Once we receive the returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
- If the return is approved, we will process the refund using the original payment method.
- Please note that it may take up to 1-2 days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

4. Exchanges:
- If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please contact our customer service team to check availability.
- Exchanges are subject to the same eligibility criteria as returns.
- The customer is responsible for any price difference between the original item and the exchanged item, as well as any additional shipping costs.

5. Damaged or Defective Items:
- If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team within 2 days of receiving the product.
- We may request supporting documentation, such as photographs, to assess the issue.
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund for the damaged or defective item, including any applicable shipping costs.

6. Exceptions:
- The following items are typically not eligible for return or may be subject to additional restrictions:
- Perishable goods, such as food or flowers.
- Intimate or sanitary products, such as underwear or swimwear.
- Downloadable software or digital products.
- Gift cards or vouchers.
